Play Internet Backgammon For
Money
Backgammon lends itself easily to wagers during play. You can play
over the internet backgammon
for Money. or you can play a match for a certain amount. These are
most of the places dedicated to allowing people to play for money.
You should choose your money games carefully. Most places allow you
to play for free to get used to the backgammon software and it's a
good idea to feel a place out before you before you start playing
for money. The problem with several of these places is that there
aren't enough players which has caused a couple to fold with more to
follow. Another thing to consider is the RAKE which is the amount of
money that goes to the "House" or the people who are providing you
the place to play backgammon.

Backgammon
Strategy
The Blockade
This backgammon strategy involves building a 6-thick wall of
checkers, or at least as thick as you can manage, to block in the
opponent's checkers that are on your 1-point. This is considered to
be the most suitable strategy at the start of the backgammon game.
You can build the wall anywhere between your 11-point and your
2-point and then shuffle it into your home board as the game
progresses.
The Blitz
This backgammon strategy involves closing your home board as quick
as possible while keeping your opponent on the bar. For example, if
your opponent rolls an early 2 and moves one checker from your
1-point to your 3-point and you then roll a 5-5, you can play 6/1
6/1 8/3 8/3. Your opponent is now in serious trouble because they
have 2 checkers on the bar and you have closed half your inner
board!
